Help us fill a Backpack

As the beginning of the school year fast approaches many students find themselves in need of new school supplies. Among them are our Covenant House kids. Due to the economic recession it has become increasingly difficult to ensure that our residents have the necessary school supplies to continue their studies. We need your help.

Will you help us meet the needs of hundreds of homeless kids by joining our drive to fill backpack with tools for school?


How Can You Help?

  • Donate a Backpack - Purchase a new backpack and fill it with the recommended school  supplies. Then, bring it to our 41st street crisis center by September 09, 2010.  
  • Donate your Time - host a Backpack Drive among family, friends, and colleagues. Then,  bring it to our 41st street crisis center by September 09, 2010. 
  • Purchase educational supplies from our online donation catalog - make a gift at and we’ll put together the tools our kids need to be successful.
