When Covenant House Washington opened its doors in 1995, we were deliberate in establishing programs and services that addressed critical problems in the most challenging neighborhoods and communities of our nation's capital.

Each day, more than 150 youth benefit from our educational programs, vocational training, and community outreach services at Covenant House Washington DC. Operating with an open intake process, no youth in crisis is ever turned away. Covenant House Washington offers an array of programs to ensure that youth are given the chance to live productive and happy lives.

We are one of nine partners in the Town Hall Education Arts & Recreation Campus operating in southeast Washington. THEARC is a major community revitalization effort that provides much-needed and much-desired services to children and adults in an attractive, community-friendly environment.
