Runaway kids in Missouri aided at Covenent House

Helping Homeless Kids in St. Louis

Covenant House Missouri empowers homeless, runaway and at-risk youth to live independently and become contributing members of the community. With open doors and open hearts, we provide over a thousand young people with services every year.

78% of Covenant House Missouri youth – all above the age of 18 – come to us with less than a 9th grade reading level. Covenant House Missouri is the only St. Louis agency serving solely unfunded youth – those kids who are not wards of the state or juvenile court – who have nowhere else to turn.

In spring of 2008, Covenant House Missouri consolidated all of the Missouri sites into one building called the Center for Youth, located on North Kingshighway in St. Louis. The Center for Youth is home to 20 Crisis Center beds, 16 Transitional Living beds, an array of supportive services, as well as the administrative offices.
