Sleep Out & Do It Yourself (DIY) Fundraising

Sleep Out
Companies seeking new ways to engage their employees – and industries seeking new ways to engage their members – host Corporate and Industry Sleep Outs on their work campuses for their employees. A unique course of social action, the Sleep Out is a cross-department and cross-program team-building activity, as colleagues forge bonds based on compassionate listening while raising funds for homeless youth. Participants are employees or invited guests of the host company or industry, and they are given a sleeping bag and a cardboard box and spend the night sleeping outside, coming together in solidarity in the fight against youth homelessness.

Do It Yourself (DIY) Fundraising
Another great way for companies to inspire their employees to help Covenant House is through Do It Yourself (DIY) Fundraising, which give companies the flexibility to create simple campaigns for Covenant House centered around activities for their employees. Whether centering the campaign around a “dress-down day”, yoga challenge, bowling outing, summer BBQ, or any other activity, companies use DIY Fundraising as an effective platform to incentivize their employees to donate to homeless youth while participating in a fun team activity.
