Director of Operations for Latin America

Department: Latin America Operations

Reports to: Senior Vice President of Latin American Region

Position Summary:

To support the operational health of all sites within the Latin American region, including but not limited to the areas of finance, fundraising, and communication. The successful candidate will be based out of Covenant House’s International Headquarters in New York, will interface directly with Latin American site representatives in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico, and will coordinate with and report to the Senior Vice President for the Latin American Region.

Project Manager

Department: Latin America Operations

Reports to: SVP of Latin America Operations

Purpose of Position:

The Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring that the Department’s goals are achieved by focusing on administrative and logistics support of delegations to and conferences in Latin America and Vancouver, conducting project specific research, supporting fundraising and grant writing efforts and supporting overall social media and marketing needs, while maintaining and enhancing relationships to support Covenant House International (CHI) services for homeless youth in Latin America and Vancouver.

Human Resource Generalist

Department: Human Resources

Reports to: VP of Human Resources & VP of Benefits

Primary Function of Position:

To provide administrative support and assist the HR manangement team in the administration of all Corporate Human Resources functions including Recruitment, Benefits, HRIS, and Employee Relations. Will work closely with the VP of Human Resouces and the VP of Benefits on assigned duties.

Major Gifts ​Officer, Latin America Region

Reports to: VP of Individual Giving - Major Gifts

Primary Function of Position:

The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for the ongoing cultivation of current and prospective donors in the United States to effectively deepen their relationship with and support of Covenant House's work with homeless youth in Latin America.

Telephone Fundraisers

Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of homeless and runaway youth?

Overview:

Covenant House is looking for Telephone Fundraisers to help us raise money to provide services for homeless and runaway youth. Must have excellent communication skills, and be willing to work hard. We offer a pleasant work environment, 20 hours per week, at $ 9-10/hr. All shifts available: afternoons, evenings, and weekends. One weekend shift per week is required. College students are welcome to apply, as being a Fundraiser for Covenant House will enable you to earn money while maintaining your academic schedule.

Foundations & Corporate Funding / Grant Writer

Department: Covenant House International

Overview:

This position plays a key role in ensuring that the Department’s goals are achieved by focusing on foundation and corporate sources of support, including identification of new sources of funding, tracking and ensuring the timely adherence to proposal and reporting guidelines, deadlines and responsibilities; maintaining and enhancing relationships to support Covenant House shelter and services for homeless youth.

Board Certified Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Overview:

Covenant House New York, a homeless shelter for youth, seeks full-time/part-time Board Certified Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to work with our Mental Health Day Program.

Resident Advisor

Reports to: Covenant House New York

Overview:

The Resident Advisor will ensure that immediate needs are met and will provide counseling and concrete services to runaway, homeless and at-risk adolescents within a residential and long-term transitional program.
