This Thanksgiving Weekend, Shop Magnolia and Help Youth Overcoming Homelessness
Magnolia, the national home and lifestyle brand founded by Chip and Joanna Gaines, today announced a Black Friday pledge to donate 25% of the purchase price (sales tax and shipping excluded) for every product purchased online at www.magnolia.com to charities including Covenant House.
The pledge will run from Friday, Nov. 29 until 11:59 p.m. CT on Monday, Dec. 2.
“On the heels of Magnolia’s recent #MakeKindnessLoud campaign, we wanted to keep the momentum going and call attention to one particular cause that’s near and dear to our hearts,” said Magnolia Chief Marketing Officer Stone Crandall. “As a result, we’ve decided to shift our focus to giving more on a day that’s become mostly synonymous with getting more.”
All money raised will be donated to the Magnolia Foundation and will ultimately benefit organizations like The Cove, a Waco, Texas-based teen nurturing center designed to provide a safe space for students experiencing homelessness to access the resources they need to thrive, and Covenant House, which provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness nationwide.
Magnolia Foundation was established by Chip and Joanna Gaines to provide restoration to the most vulnerable children and families, focusing its efforts in four specific areas: orphan care, youth development, family housing, and community restoration.
