Diane Scott is a former director of CH New Jersey in Newark (2000-2006), where she managed the program operations and oversaw the development of direct care and professional staff members including the service management staff, staff attorneys, a physician, nurse practitioner, pastoral minister, addictions and career development specialists and the programmatic leadership team. In 2006 she joined the NJ Department of Children and Families as the Deputy Director of Central Operations and led the statewide child abuse hotline, as well as coordinating a statewide institutional abuse investigations division reform. She has won multiple awards for her work with youth, including the NAACP Freedom Award which celebrates those that have made major contributions to the community. In 2009 Diane came back to Covenant House as a senior management executive. She graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in sociology and resides in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
