What is the event about?

Young people are counting on Covenant House to keep our doors open 24/7. For nearly 50 years, Covenant House has kept its doors open to all youth facing homelessness. Covenant House knows that staying open and providing youth facing homelessness with sanctuary and safety during the summer and fall months is indispensable to stopping the spread of COVID-19 and continuing our mission of providing youth with the vital services they need — shelter, medical care, job training, education, life skills, and more — to recover and thrive.

That is why our annual Lifeline Award event is going virtual. From the safety of your home and ours, we will “gather together” on the same night to celebrate the amazing resilience of young people who are facing down homessness during these unprecedented times. These young people don’t have the option to stay home. Covenant House is their home and now, more than ever, we need our community to be there for our youth, 24/7.

TUNE IN THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2020, 8:00 p.m. ET
Where: We’re coming to you! Well, to your screens at least. Make sure they’re charged up and ready to stream.
How:  By way of streaming on Facebook and YouTube.
