Our doors are open 24/7 in 34 cities across the Americas and our high-quality programs are designed to empower young people to rise and overcome adversity, today and in the future.

Covenant House has worked in Latin America since 1981. The children and adolescents we serve in the region are the youngest across our federation. At just 12-18 years old, and some even younger, they have survived trafficking, abuse, exploitation, and abandonment. Covenant House continually offers programs that meet their unique needs and help them heal and thrive.

Covenant House believes every young person deserves a safe and secure place to sleep and hope for the future. In Latin America, children and adolescents face extraordinary challenges, and we have been helping them transform their lives for over 40 years.

Our sites in Latin America offer youth shelter, food, medical and mental health care, substance use treatment, educational support, vocational training, and legal aid to help our young residents overcome the horror of trafficking and abuse. We also help build systemic change in the region through public education and prevention programs, legislative advocacy, and human rights monitoring and protection.
