About The Event

Covenant House Hill Day will bring together a diverse set of Covenant House champions from across the U.S. to advocate on behalf of Covenant House policy priorities. Our coalition includes Covenant House Board of Directors Members, Alumni, Youth, and U.S. affiliates. Our goal is to use our use our collective voices to advance meaningful legislation on key Covenant House policy priorities.

* Participants need to cover their own travel and hotel expenses.

June 5 - 3pm ET - Participant Information Session. Review of Day, planned meetings, message, materials and Day of app. Hosted by Lori Maloney, CHI, Sally Schaeffer, Uncorked Advocates and Advocacy Associates.

June 10 - Optional Open Office Hours for Participants- Please feel free to reach out with any questions of the Day. Hosted by Lori Maloney, CHI and Sally Schaeffer, Uncorked Advocates.

  • 2-3pm ET - Open to All participants
  • 3-4pm ET - Open to Latin American focused participants
  • 4-5pm ET - Open to All participants

 

Day Of Information

Coffee and light refreshments will be available beginning at 8amET with the introductory program starting promptly at 8:30am with a panel presentation. Meetings starting on the Hill no later than 10am.

Location of 06/12/24 Hill Day Kick Off- This room will be available to us all day and secured for those who may wish to leave personal belongings, including overnight bags in the room while out on the Hill.
