The Covenant House Innovation Center is the first headquarters of its kind.

Youth homelessness is a crisis. Covenant House International has a five decade rich history of addressing this crisis and helping young people discover and develop their power to overcome adversity now and into the future. As the largest provider of safe shelter and services to youth overcoming homelessness in North and Central America, Covenant House is positioned as the leader of this movement.

That’s why we are constructing the Covenant House Innovation Center—our initiative to build a headquarters that demonstrates a better future for youth and serves as a breeding ground for solutions to end youth homelessness.

The Covenant House Innovation Center will be in the heart of Manhattan, adjacent to Covenant House New York, where our mission began. It is scheduled to open in 2025.

We’ll show the world how to effectively take on this crisis—and get our most vulnerable youth, young families, and survivors of human trafficking onto a sustainable path to independence.

Our Vision

Bill Bedrossian, President and CEO at Covenant House

Regina Jennings, AVP, Programs at Covenant House

“I know the Innovation Center will provide me with the physical space I need to conduct meetings and training sessions, but more importantly, I’ll be surrounded by innovation and technology that will encourage collaboration and creative problem solving. I truly believe we’ll enhance our programs and get closer to ending youth homelessness in this lifetime if we have space to innovate.”

-Regina Jennings, AVP, Programs

Susan Reyna-Guerrero, CEO, Covenant House Illinois

“Having a physical space to meet, learn, and that fosters synergy in our work is transformational. I will be able to return to my site equipped with more tools and approaches to serve our youth better with the Innovation Center. We all want to strengthen our partnerships with other providers and policymakers to advance solutions for our young people, and this Innovation Center could be where it happens.”

-Susan Reyna-Guerrero, CEO, Covenant House Illinois

Leslie McGuire, SVP, Operations and Site Support at Covenant House

“An innovative workspace will allow us to host enterprise-wide program retreats, seminars, trainings, and symposiums for deep dives into how our programs operate and about issues that impact the young people in our care like housing, workforce development, mental health, and trafficking.”

-Leslie McGuire, SVP, Operations and Site Support

Kate Amore, VP, Site Development at Covenant House

“In the new Innovation Center, I can imagine my team creating a training academy for development teams across all Covenant House sites where they share best practices and learn directly from each other, the team at Covenant House International, and other practitioners in our industry.”

-Kate Amore, VP, Site Development

Carolina Escobar Sarti, CEO, Covenant House Guatemala

“Our services in Guatemala with young survivors of trafficking have influenced work with survivors all around the world. I take great pleasure in knowing we have techniques to share and I can only imagine what it will be like to have an Innovation Center where we can prioritize the sharing of this work, and how many more survivors will be impacted positively because of our collaboration.”
