Youth facing homelessness often struggle with anxiety, depression, and trauma rooted in childhood abuse and neglect, yet these challenges are often overlooked in traditional mental health initiatives. Covenant House, a leader in helping young people overcome homelessness, offers unique insights into the intersection of mental health and housing insecurity.
We’ll come together during Mental Health Awareness Month to show our support for vulnerable youth and the improvement of mental health care for young people facing homelessness, so they are enabled to thrive.
