Kia’s “Accelerate the Good” Dealer Match Program Provides Support for Covenant House

Kia America announced the automaker’s “Accelerate the Good” Dealer Match program raised $3.779 million for non-profits nationwide. Kia and its dealers selected charities across the U.S., including organizations that help treat and defeat childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases, assist with childhood hunger, provide shelter for youth facing homelessness, provide disaster relief for recovering communities, and offer support for military families.

“Helping those in need is a core tenant of the Kia brand and we are proud to partner with our retailers to make a positive impact on communities across the U.S.,” said Sean Yoon, president and CEO of Kia North America and Kia America.

Covenant House is grateful to be one of eight national organizations chosen by Kia in these special partnerships.

"Our goal at Kia America is to be an integral part of the communities where we live and work," said Russell Wager, vice president, marketing, Kia America. "We've had the opportunity to meet some of the young people at Covenant House, and see the work being done every day across the United States. This is an organization that walks side by side with young people experiencing homelessness, providing not only immediate support, but long-term support that is making a real difference. We're proud at Kia to help inspire a movement that values and lifts up the hopes and dreams of all young people."
