January is Human Trafficking Prevention Month. As a supporter of Covenant House, the largest provider of shelter and critical services for youth experiencing homelessness and survivors of human trafficking in the Americas, I’m writing to urge you, as my representative of the <<Nth District>> of <<STATE>>, to learn all you can about the impact and realities of human trafficking, especially for youth experiencing homelessness. One out of every five young people that Covenant House serves is a survivor of human trafficking. Any youth without stable and secure housing is a potential trafficking target. Please help by sponsoring and supporting legislation that protects young people from homelessness and trafficking.
