Lisa Silverstein | Silverstein Properties

Lisa Silverstein, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Silverstein Properties will accept an award on behalf of the company’s long-term support for the Covenant House mission and for their partnership in New York City, where the flagship Covenant House site is located. Lisa shared, “Silverstein Properties is proud to support Covenant House's mission. If we can make a small difference by helping vulnerable young people in our communities, it’s always worth it. Children are like a flame that can burn out or be rekindled every moment. They are our greatest natural resource and our future. Covenant House provides goodness and stability, helping youth succeed despite the challenges they have endured. Kindness smothers pain and is the best medicine for healing wounds.”

CISCO Supports Covenant House

Industry leader Cisco Systems is the 2024 Extraordinary Partnership in Service honoree. Cisco and its employees have impacted every Covenant House site in the federation, and their global participation in the Sleep Out movement has set the pace for corporate teams and the overall grassroots impact a company can have on a cause. Patrick Morrissey, SVP, Global Specialists and Jonathan Davidson, EVP/GM, Cisco Networking will accept the award. As Jonathan, who is also a Covenant House board member puts it: "Anyone who has ever set foot in a Covenant House knows how special it is. Every time a Cisconian sleeps out, we witness firsthand the valuable impact that this organization is making in the communities it serves. Cisco is proud to continue the work with Covenant House to transform the lives of more than a million youth facing homelessness."

John Dickerson, CBS News anchor and chief political analyst is the 2024 Board Service award honoree. He joined the Covenant House International board of directors in 2018. John’s board leadership includes Sleep Out, Night of Covenant House Stars, public service announcements, and legacy giving. John’s mother, Nancy Dickerson, was a Covenant House board member in Washington D.C., where she helped found the Covenant House affiliate there.
