Honduran computer engineer Roger Canaca credits his life’s success and happiness to a chance encounter with Covenant House outreach workers when he was a 13-year-old living alone on the streets of Guatemala.
Covenant House is training staff in the Community Resiliency Model, an approach to care that allows youth to re-set their response to the trauma of homelessness.
