Covenant House Vancouver (CHVAN) provides love and hope to young people who are facing or at risk of homelessness or human trafficking. We help youth ages 16-24 who have fled physical, emotional, and sexual abuse; those who have been forced from their homes; and those who have aged out of foster care. All our services are free.
Our Shelter
When young people come to CHVAN, we meet their basic needs for nutritious food, a safe place to sleep, and medical care. We offer gender-specific residential programs; one for female-identified youth and one for male-identified youth. They can stay with us in our Residential Crisis Program for as long as they need to.
Our Programs
Young people can access our emergency services through our street outreach program, drop-in center, and shelter. They can take advantage of wraparound services that address their needs and help them look to the future. Our transitional housing program, Rights of Passage, helps youth work on the life skills that will prepare them to live independently.
